Archiving Ice: Newfoundland chronicles the process of artist Caroline Landau as she recreates an iceberg into glass. Videographer Oliver Rye documents Landau’s project from wax mold in Newfoundland to blown glass in San Francisco. From capturing the impression of the ice to storing the melted water in the contained vessel, the piece illustrates the condition of the melting North.
